Pre-Preparation

Warm water to  105˚ - 110˚

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in the warm water with the honey

Step 2

Mix in salt, wheat flour and enough of the white flour until the dough forms a ball

Step 3

Knead the dough until is smooth and elastic

Step 4

Place in the bowl, cover and let rise for an hour till doubled in size

Step 5

Punch down the dough and turn out onto a clean surface

Shape into a large rectangle the width  of the loaf pan

Step 6

Roll up the rectangle into a loaf shape

Step 7

Place in a loaf pan, cover and let rise another hour

Step 8

Bake for 40 minutes at 350˚till golden brown and rub with butter

Step 9

Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then take out and finish cooling on a rack
